Rather than delivering purely theoretical content, this session adopts a participatory approach, encouraging dialogue, critical thinking, and the exchange of perspectives among participants. It creates a safe and inclusive space where young people can reflect on their own experiences, question existing systems, and explore possible solutions. The presentation begins by introducing the concept of youth unemployment as a complex social and economic issue, highlighting not only its immediate consequences, such as lack of income, but also its long-term impact on career development, independence, and life planning. Participants are invited to reflect on their own definitions and experiences, setting the tone for an open and engaging discussion. As the session progresses, it explores structural causes, such as the mismatch between education systems and labour market needs, encouraging participants to critically assess whether current systems adequately prepare young people for employment.
